I found this quite easy because we have done lots of this decimal maths.

Reflection :
Walt find factors of a number.
I think that I'm okay at at finding factors.
Now I know fully about factors and what they are.

Our Class Noho

Reflection:
On the 19th of June Rm 23 had a Noho and decided to write about it.
We had to Prewrite, Draft, Revise, Edit and then Publish.
Now I know a little bit more about the writers process and how it works.

Dry Brushing Techniques

Reflection:
On Friday the 19th Rm 23 had a Noho based on art and we did a Technique called Dry Brushing.
We had to wipe a little bit of paint andwhen it looks kinda dry you start brushing.
Now we know a technique to use for our art work.
I  found it interesting that it looked quite good.

Reflection: I was learning the writers process
I think I did quite good because I put a lot of information.
Now I know what comes first,  in the middle and last
Next time I need to work on put more words in some of my sentence's

Making Predictions

Reflection:
WALT: Make justified predictions before we read the text
I had to make a prediction about the story before we read the text and when we read it we write if our prediction as right or wrong
Now I know how to make predictions before we read
Next time I could learn something new to me.

Interpreting data

Reflection:
Walt: Interpret the Data of pictograms and present it in a bar graph
We had to look at the tally chart and the pictogram and work out the answers for the problem
Now I know how to put data in a bar graph
Next time I need to try different graphs.

Pablo Picasso

Reflection
In class we have been researching Pablo Picasso.
I had to read about him and find important information .
I liked that he had a really long name
I discovered that Pablo Picasso's first word was"Piz Piz"short for lapiz - in English it means pencil .

Compare And Contrast

WALT: Compare and Contrast
In class we had to look at the picture and see what was the same and what was different.
I found this easy because they had a few things different and the same.
It was not really hard.
I like learning about the soldiers from the war.  Its good to compare between olden day modern day.

Hero vs Villan

Reflection:
I liked the first part of it because the big bad wolf part was harder
I learnt more ideas and discribtive words.

Creative Body Art

In class we had to sketch a body that inspired us 

My body is a all back because I want to be one when I grow up. 

I like this because It represents me being a rugby player. 

Welcome Post 2015

This year I am a year 5 student at Elm Park School.
I am in room 23.
My teacher is Matua Faenza.
I am looking forward to doing lots of sport.
I hope to get to level 30 in reading and level 7 or higher in maths

Adding 3 Digit Numbers

I found it easy because we did this allot in class.

I think I did it well because I have practised  this allot.

Next time I would need to use the locks a different way.
